What are the Safeco group and affinity group discounts?

Group rates are applied at the policy level in either Safeco program. No policy will qualify for more than one group rate. Documentation that proves a particular driver qualifies for a group rate must be collected by the agent at new business and be readily available for random verification.

To apply the group rate to an eligible in-force policy, you must submit acceptable proof via fax or email along with this cover sheet to us. Upon receipt of acceptable documentation, the group rate will be added to the policy effective the date received.

Highly Skilled Workers Program

A 5 percent reduction in uninsured/underinsured motorist bodily injury, uninsured property damage and medical payments, and 1 percent reduction in collision premiums applies if the primary named insured or his/ her spouse is a member of one of the following professions:

Acceptable proof must show and include:

• pay stub (or similar HR documentation)
• state license
• document indicating membership of a professional association, union membership card
